ROYAL FLYING CORPS CASUALTY
George Howard Boorne, 2nd Lt RFC. Eldest son of CH & ME Boorne of Ottawa, Canada. Died March 28, 1917 as a result of a flying accident aged 24 years. [R.E.8 A3451?, 37 RS, Scampton. Spun in and caught fire on delivery, Radford, Coventry] Buried at St John, Broughton, Lancs:
