TRIBUTE PLAQUE
Interesting decoration at the base of the Butterworth family circa 1767 grave [paving] slab at St Leonard's, Middleton. A plaque at the entrance commemorates the late Carl Shaw Woodhead who relaid and levelled the paths in the churchyard:
