REAR GUNNER KILLED IN HIS TURRET
Sgt Frank Wrigley of 102 Sqn RAF was rear gunner on Whitley bomber Z6935 which carried out an attack of railway workshops at Kassel. Turret disabled by enemy action and Wrigley was killed. He is buried at St Joseph’s RC Cemetery, Moston:
