RAF PILOT 1929 SEA CRASH

Howlett avoided death several times. In Feb 27, his aircraft collided with another off Malta. The other pilot was killed but Howlett survived. HIs 1929 crash at Sea made headlines. He died in mid-air collision near Leuchars, Scotland in November 1930. He was 41 and an Australian said his record. Stubbins United Reform Church, Rossendale:
