Headless Angels

Headless Angels - Layton Cemtery, Blackpool:

Be Still and Know that I am God

Grave of a Japanese Subject

Not the sort of memorial you expect to find in a small Lancashire  churchyard:

Ikutaro Sugi
(A Japanese Subject
6th Class Order of the Rising Sun,
1st Assistant Commissioner of the
Chinese Imperial
Maritime Customs.
Died October 30th 1905
Aged 30 Years
