In Memoriam Cards 4

A further selection of in memoriam cards. These mark the deaths of the poor unfortunates who never reached the prime of life.

These are beautiful, and so poignant, and take me back to my childhood, and a baby brother who was stillborn.

Beautiful cards. There are various ways of remembering those who have died. In 18th century Europe memorial cards became a customary way to remember the dead, and their use expanded in the late 19th century as postal services developed.
