MURDER - SUICIDE
Driver Ernest Earnshaw and his wife Amy Ethel were found dead in their lodging. Inquest verdict - Earnshaw murdered his wife and then committed suicide while his mind was deranged due to jealousy. Newton-le-Willows Cemetery:

That vase. Their names tied together in the full knowledge of the terrible facts (but her name first, so rare in cemeteries). No flowers but a flourishing sycamore, which says something I can't quite put into words about time and memory.
Two lives needlessly lost, very sad.
