DIED OF WOUNDS
Pte Ernest Cecil Kay, 20th (Public School) Bn, Royal Fusiliers died in Cambridge Hospital through wounds received in France. He had been severed wounded in the head, wrist and leg during a heavy bombardment in France in June 1916. He is buried at Middleton Old Cemetery:
