FAMILY WIPED OUT IN MANCHESTER AIR RAID
Richard Kirwin, Trafford Bn Home Guard. Wife, son and grandson Florence [48], Francis [14] & Anthony [2] were killed at same time by Enemy Action (Air Raid) in their home @ 59 Prince Street, Ardwick. [Civilian War Dead register says 23 Dec] Wife buried at Manchester Southern Cemetery. [St Joseph’s RC Cemetery, Moston]:
