A Survivor of the Charge of the Light Brigade

Ferdinand Stanley survived one of the most famous events of the British Army – the Charge of the Light Brigade at Balaclava during the Crimean War. He and three others, James Cameron, Jospeph Ireland and David Andrews are buried in Salford’s Weaste Cemetery.
