Just two photographs of the devastation in Blackburn Cemetery. It's like a bomb has dropped. I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions. Me? Sorry, I just don't like it!
Yes I really feel sadden when I see things like this, there is this one cemetery here in town that was like that, it is slowly being taken care of, but there are still tombs knocked down from vandalism. A shame!
Elf and safety gone mad :-0 I visited Witton cemetery in Birmingham today and they are attaching stickers to the stones that they regard as unsafe. "Do not go near or touch" they advise. Common sense i think and so much better than laying down of stones. A desecration in my mind. It is happening more across the UK though and the risk is so slight. Shame, nothings sacred.
An illustrated look at the World of Graveyards and Cemeteries. There are many Stories behind the Stones that Stand in them. Who knows what we might find?
