HMS MONMOUTH CASUALTY

Stoker 1st Cl George Titmarsh died when HMS Monmouth was sunk at the disastrous Battle of Coronel. He enlisted in 1911 and had joined Monmouth in July 1914. During his short time on the ship, he served seven days in the cells for being drunk and disorderly. St Michael, Flixton:
