I don't often come across wooden memorials as I go round England's cemeteries. Last week, I came across two in Hurst Green, Lancashire - both to members of the Rawcliffe family.
Those are wonderful! I have been to England, but didn't get a chance to go cemetery hopping! My Beau if from there and he can't wait to take me on "his tour" LOL. I'm positive a cemetery or two will be on the agenda!

Glad you liked these. I hope you get the chance to get to a few cemeteries when you next get to the UK!
ReplyDeleteHi Laurie,
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you stopped by my blog. These images are fascinating. I've never seen wooden memorials before.
Carnealia,
ReplyDeleteThanks for coming over. Me, too. I have seen plenty of wooden crosses but not ones like these before!
I love the wood headstones and crosses. I am from AZ and wood gives the place an old west feel.
