Baby Died in Fireplace

Grade II-listing of Manchester General Cemetery mentions a memorial which features a depiction of a baby in an opening, It is believed to be in memory of baby thrown into a fireplace. Another version suggests the baby lay in the lap of its mother who fell asleep and the baby rolled off and fell in fireplace.
