Desert Graves 2
Three more views of German cemeteries in the Western Desert:

| The Allied advance continues past the [German] cemetery at Fort Capuzzo. There is a road junction here, one road leading to Sollum about 12 miles away, the other to Siwa over a desert track. |

Brookwood Cemetery 2
A recently found negative produced this nice image of an Angel at Brookwood Cemetery. Note the star above the head . . .
Desert Graves
Over the years, I have collected a number of official war photographs that I found at Militaria Fairs, Several of them show Axis graves in North Africa. I can remember my elder brother telling me that while him and my parents were in Cyreniaca in the late 40s, he was able to wander around in the desert which was littered with abandoned military vehicles and equipment. He had a pretty impressive collection of wartime memorabilia that he had 'liberated'.

Brookwood Angels
Rediscovering a few sheets of black and white negatives today produced a welcome surprise. Several sheets of Brookwood Cemetery images shot on ILFORD XP2 film. This is the grave of John Charles Dufort who died in 1911.
