Driver Ernest Earnshaw and his wife Amy Ethel were found dead in their lodging. Inquest verdict - Earnshaw murdered his wife and then committed suicide while his mind was deranged due to jealousy. Newton-le-Willows Cemetery:

RAILWAY ENGINEER'S GRAVE 1842
The spectacular burial slab of Peers Naylor, - Engineer at St Peter's, Newton-le-Willow. He died in 1842. His Epitaph is recorded in the Notes and Queries column in the Derbyshire Courier Jan 17, 1874:

DIED OF ENTERIC FEVER

KILLED IN MOTOR ACCIDENT
Pte Harold Boucher, 16th Bn Tank Corps is buried Unicorn Cemetery, Vend'Huile. Several comrades who died same day are buried close-by, marked by 1 regimental cross with their names. Boucher buried separately. Brother Tom died in horrific motor accident - Sheffield City Road Cem.
COLLIERY DEATH
Sheffield City Road Cemetery: Charles Moulds was killed at Rossington Main Colliery. Cause of death was a fractured skull. The death toll in the Yorkshire Coalfield was high in the 1960s as can be seen by looking at this link https://bit.ly/2wv2sFc

On December 12, 1940, 74 Nether Edge Road took a direct hit. Susan Bielby (84) and her 3 daughters, Annie (45), Emily (51) and Millicent (54) were killed. Emily and Millicent were infant school headmistresses, while Annie was a costumier. [Sheffield General Cemetery, Yorkshire]

Despite the newspaper report naming him as Henry, Railway worker Edward Millington was found dead on the line [decapitated] near Hooton Station. Doctor thought he had suffered from Apoplexy. Christ Church, Willaston @RWLDproject
TWO RUN DOWN BY TRAIN
Platelayers William Nield and Edward Allcock were run down and killed by a train just outside Chester Station. Nield was almost decapitated while Allcock was severely crushed and lived for 90 minutes before expiring - Christ Church, Willaston: @RWLDproject

TRAGIC DROWNING
Tragic memorial at St Peter's Church in Heysham of two sisters who drowned in full view of their Mother who could do nothing to save them. How awful that must have been - unthinkable!
